Dammi! I am getting a cold

And just in time for Christmas too (of course- when else would it happen?). I am supposed to drive up to Illinois (from S. Texas) next week to my sister's. AND I have to work on my thesis. I have a presentation at a meeting in January, and then my thesis defense in February. I do not have time to be sick. I don't even have time for Christmas but I am going anyway.

I called in sick today and basically have slept all day long.
