Oh, great! Just in time for the holidays and I have a "frozen shoulder"!
Starting P.T. Monday. Doc read me out for not coming in sooner. I'm in so much pain I'm actually thinking I'll return to that lunatic naturopathic doc who does acupuncture for pain but put me into "unnatural" positions on her exam table. Hurt like hell and I told her to stop and just do the acupuncture. It kinda helped my golf elbow a couple of years ago...
My orthopedic Dr gave me a cortisone injection in the shoulder and it helped a lot. The xray never showed the problem but the MRI did. I had surgery and now it's fine.
people wait too long to get it checked out and that's how it becomes "frozen" just do everything the PT asks you because manually breaking up joint adhesions hurts like a bitch. I once saw the quarterback for our football team cry in a room full of people when they were trying to restore his wrist mobility. DO YOUR REHAB EXERCISES!!!
9. I had one several years ago...a few months of home exercises and weekly physical
therapy helped..but I really got better when I volunteered for a trail crew and had to hack and shovel for 6 hours a day..good luck, I know how frustrating this can be.
