DU'ers: Can you recommend some good jeans?

I bought the jeans I'm wearing now about a year ago, and now they've got holes in the knees. Since a lot of people who go to my school wear them like that and even rip them on purpose right after they buy them, I can keep wearing them without people staring at me, but I was wondering if anyone here could recommend some good jeans that wouldn't rip. Not that thin stretchy fabric that a lot of jeans are made of, but real thick cotton denim. I'm a girl, but I don't really care whether they're men's or women's jeans. :shrug:
