My Bankruptcy Law professor told me today I should go to law school
:woohoo:

It's so incredible to hear things like that from people who actually are attorneys! She's the second instructor who has told me that - the first teaches at a law school in addition to the paralegal classes I'm taking.

AND I feel pretty good about the final I sweated through prior to her telling me that. :bounce:

It's a good day. :)

1. My dear skygazer!
Sounds like the time you spent in my thread didn't hurt you at all!

Major conrats, sweetie!

Maybe one sweet day, you will be able to go to law school!

:toast:

2. Thanks, CalPeg
I've had friends tell me "you should do such-and-such" many times but to have someone who actually has knowledge and experience in a field encourage you to pursue it is really gratifying. She also mentioned that a lot of the people she went to law school with were people who had been in other careers, people in their 40's or 50's and that my life experience would bring a lot to it that a younger student may not have.

Oh, and she told me she'd send me her contact info in case she could offer any help or references. So nice to get such encouragement for something I'd love to do!

3. She obviously hasn't heard about the way you treated dolls...
:D
Seriously, listen to them if you think it's something you would enjoy.

4. It might be handy to learn how to defend myself in an Assault on Barbie case

Yeah, I'm listening. I think I'd love it. :hi:
