It is the one show I have right now that I'm in constant fear of getting canceled. I really hope the writer's strike doesn't have a negative effect on its chances.
NBC in the past has not been kind to some of their better shows like Homicide, moving it around and preempting it constantly. I did hear tonight that they have full episodes of FNL online to watch on their website.
most of the networks are doing that now for at least a majority of their shows. That is what the writer's strike is about since they aren't getting a cut of the money from the online airings.
It seems people don't like shows like FNL anymore that reward you for watching every time and require you to follow several story lines over several episodes.
Speaking of Homicide, I am getting ridiculously excited for the final season of The Wire coming on in January. FNL is good, but The Wire might be the best show ever.
