When and how did Vader find out that Luke was his son?

I figure it's somewhere between ANH and ESB, but no one seems to know the answer. Do you?

1. Probably figured it out as soon as he learned the kid's name
and then noticed the family resemblance. He did know that his wife gave birth to twins.
