4. I have no idea where my life will take me
I'm not where I imagined I'd be

in many ways, in fact in most ways.

If you'd have told me that 5 years ago that I'd be living in a 1 bedroom apartment alone, I would have thought you'd lost your marbles.

2 years ago if you'd have told me that, I might have believed it, but it would have freaked me out nonetheless

As for my career, it hasn't gone the direction I planned either. That's not to say it is all bad, nor that where I am at is necessarily bad, it just isn't what I imagined.

that say me

:hi:

6. Where I wanted to be, based on my expectations at what age?
At eighteen? No, but eighteen-year-old me was not a version of myself that I'd want injecting her wisdom or ambitions into my current state of existence.

My life deviates significantly from anything I envisioned early on, but that's fine. I'm flexible. I'm doing good things. I'm excited about what the next few years will entail.

31. Whatever happiness I enjoy, I do so because I chose to.
Not to say that happiness is simply a choice, but in my case, I learned a long time ago that enjoying one's life can require a lot of mental effort.

There are aspects of my life that are not so great; I try very hard not to focus on them unless they involve things that I am capable of changing.

As far as I know, this life is the only one I'll get. I want it to be a decent one.

:-)

13. No and Yes.
I'm not in the "place" where I imagined myself, but I'm still happier than I thought I'd ever be.

I consider that a huge success. Most mornings, I laugh myself awake.

19. I never had a life plan
No plan, no expectations, no worries. So I chose Answer #1, because there is no other answer. I'm here, and it's exactly where I'm supposed to be.

Could use a teensy bit more cash, though. But that will come. :hi:

23. Not at all where I want to be right now.
My life is up in the air right now. Mostly because I'm 'moving' or was supposed to have moved a week ago! But we haven't found
a suitable place yet and it's driving me mad! I know we'll get there but the temps dropped way below normal this week and everything is iced over and the holidays are coming and I have a feeling we'll still be here until at least mid January. That's good and bad but I still feel uncomfortable about it. It's hanging over my head. :(

24. No.
Professionally, I'm working in a job that is below my capabilities and doesn't pay as much as I used to make. What's weird is that I enjoy it, for the most part.

25. Are you talking about when I was 18?
I had no idea a job like I have now even existed. In fact it didn't. If you're talking about even 15 years ago I'd say no with regard to a professional standpoint. With regard to 1 year ago I'd say yes for the most part.

I came back to Ohio for Lelapin and her education. But as far as where I'd like to be? Not even close.

27. Sorta yes, sorta no
I'm going in the right direction. But I keep running into roadblocks that won't let me stay there. I keep taking two steps forward, one step back. :eyes:

Now a completely new idea that I never considered has taken hold... and I don't know if I have what it takes to make that a reality.

I thought I would have a better home... been able to fix this place up by now but I still have to make do somehow.

29. No
A few weeks ago I would have said no and that there was no hope for things to improve

Things have changed slightly over the past few weeks. Some things that I've wanted to happen for several years that I thought would take a long time to occur have happened so we'll see if I can get my life back on track

But in terms of my success in relationships and my overall happiness, I never would have even imagined that I could to sink so low as to where I am now if you had asked me this a decade ago

30. I am exactly where I want to be and thought I would be except that
I thought I would have children by now. Not so much working like I thought it would in the fertility department. I know that I am meant to be a mom, so I know that it will work out when the time is right. Hopefully soon too!

But I keep having other things to do, and don't think I'm gonna make it - I think I'm just gonna go to bed, since I'm really tired.
