What's for supper tonight?
I just had a cheap and quick and easy dinner.

Deli shaved (very thin) turkey sandwich, a spoonful of deli potato salad and a handful of chips.

And a Bacardi rum and diet coke. ;)

5. What goes in the shake?
The only shakes I drink are chocolate! :P

But if you have a good recipe for a sweet & healthy one, I'm interested.

Roasted veggies sound good, though!

It's the Fiber35 Diet
I use the Vanilla one. It's good if you add fresh fruit, which I don't happen to have right now. It also has about 10 g of fiber. *urp*

15. I never heard of that.
Can I get that in a regular grocery store or do I need a health food store?

Thanks!! :hi:

is the name of the woman who originated it. She's a nurse and a dietician.

Her whole premise is we aren't er... cleaning ourselves out nearly enough. So for weight loss, up your fiber quotient to 35, at least, per day. I also use the table top sprinkle fiber in my drinks throughout the day.

Fiber not only makes you feel full, it takes other calories with it, something I didn't know. :wow: (So it's kinda like you didn't even eat them!)

edit: Other than Amazon, I've only ever seen it at Whole Foods around here.

edit2: I only use the shake in the evenings. I eat regular meals at breakfast and lunch. And I usually wind up having a snack around 4pm

6. Pizzie!
Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 07:54 PM by hippywife
Friday night is our "no cooking, throw a frozen pizza in the oven" night. Having a Freshetta Rising Crust 4-cheese to which I added our usual mushrooms, onion, and hot 'nana peppers. It's actually very good for a frozen pizza.

10. Are Freshetta's pretty good?

I never had one. If I buy frozen pizza at the grocery store,

I usually get the UNO's cheese and tomato! :9

Celeste's One Servings are on sale for $1.00 but they're like cardboard. :(

14. It's not too bad.
Edited on Fri Dec-07-07 08:02 PM by hippywife
I like the crust better than I do the sauce. We usually get the Red Baron Classic 4-cheese but the Freshetta was on sale so we decided to try it. There just isn't any good pizza around here at all so we go with frozen and doctor it up when we don't feel like cooking. Since every Friday night is no cook night, and that's what we have, I never make homemade anymore, which would be better.

There's another one that's not bad. It's a DiGiorno Spinach and Mushroom.

13. I have rolaids on hand! LOL!
I didn't know McDonald's had chicken strips.

I can get them freshly made at the pizza place here

with steak fries and salad for around $6.00, about

the same as McDonald's, I think.

Hope you don't get heartburn! :P

I really wanted pork fried rice but I didn't stop. :(

Maybe I can talk my son into getting some! ;)

Your supper sounds good to me! Enjoy it!

Why not? You earned a treat after a long week of working.

But I'm not ambitious!

It's easy...Assemble, stick in oven, stir now and then...Eat!

Haven't had it yet....another half an hour though, and then we'll eat...

Beef! And it's always good...
