28. Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre
Didn't get them at all. Same people, two terrible movies. Except for the brother's girlfriend in Napoleon Dynamite. Loved her.

2. 'Pearl Harbor,' hands down
I suppose I shouldn't have been disappointed, considering who made it. But, couldn't they have gotten one thing right? Just one?

:grr:

Oh I'm Wes Anderson, bow down to my pretentious crap. It's so arty and hip.

Give me a fucking break. :puke:

He has made some great films, but this one won 2007's pretentious crap award big time!

16. Robocop II
C'mon--it was written by Frank Miller, for pity's sake! How could it possibly have sucked so bad?

After about ten minutes, I glanced uneasily at the friend I had dragged to the screening, and she said "well, we paid for it, we might as well stay."

21. The 1998 Godzilla
How difficult is it to make a Godzilla movie? It's a giant lizard that destroys cities. End of story. I was really looking forward to seeing it with some modern special effects, but somehow they managed to make two and a half hours of boring drivel.

I just went to a theatre and walked out complaining, and nearly asked for my money back. I should have.

23. The Big Lebowski
After reading so many raves about it on this site and on imDb, we finally rented it. What a letdown - every other word was some variation of "fuck" and the parade of unsavory characters was like a third-rate imitation of the colorful characters that populate John Waters' films, with none of the humanity or charm. My neighbors, who have a movie night every 2 weeks in the summer, in their backyard with a video projector. They put "Lebowski" on the schedule and I tried to warn them about it, but they didn't listen. At the following movie, I heard from someone that 30 people went to see "Lebowski" but by the time it was over, only 4 were left - and 2 of them were the people who live there.

I was skeptical, but didn't begin to realize how AWFUL it was.

Even knowing John Logan scribbled the script out of his large intestines, I expected something more involving from it.
