How do I d/ a movie from my Tivo to my Mac?

I recorded a movie last year that I like so much I haven't deleted it yet and would like to put it on disk to keep.

The Tivo has a record to videotape facility but I've never tried it. Can I hook up my laptop instead? I'd rather burn a DVD obviously.

1. The only way is using "TiVo to Go". The "record to VCR" won't output in a

codec you can use on your computer.

Is your TiVo networked? It must be to use TTG.

P.S. I have one of the Humax TiVos with the built-in DVD recorder. It's great.
