Crockpot question
Edited on Tue Dec-04-07 11:30 PM by SallyMander
(Because i know there are several experienced chefs loitering here! :) )

MrMander is making some chili for tomorrow... usually when we do this we mix it up in the morning and leave it on low all day, stirring occasionally. Is it OK for us to leave it on low overnight? We probably won't eat any until mid- to late-tomorrow. Should we get up and stir it sometime tonight?

Any advice appreciated! Thanks! :hi:

3. Thanks greenbriar!
So if it's a pretty thick chili, we should probably put it in the fridge, huh?

2. You could also
put it in the fridge tonight, then get it out tomorrow and turn it on. I do that all the time w/ all kinds of things.

5. You are very welcome!
:hi:

Chili sounds good - I may have to whip up a batch tomorrow. We're getting 2"-4" of snow tonight.

6. We'll be getting the same snow right behind you!
(I'm in Ohio)

Keep as much of it as you can, OK? ;)
