7. Cool
cool history, cool job , cool people and I respect them and what they had to do in the war (illegal) . Just trying to give some Kudos to people who deserve it.

I almost became a SAR corpsmen in the USN. Just respect

10. Ah...OK...
I'm just not sure what you wrote.

True, the 101st is one of the most distinguished units in the Army. I have many, many friends in that unit.

6. My co-worker's son is in the 101st...came home Monday...
We're all very happy - side effect was that Dad-co-worker was a complete basket case to work with for the last year. We can already see the difference...

WTG boys, and welcome home!

8. Watch for the 101st to have problems...
personnel problems, as in personnel shortage problems when they hit CONUS. I will wager that 2 in 5 will say "F this" and ETS.

11. Total Props to all who serve in uniform!
I really, really, really appreciate the sacrifices made by our military men and women. That's why I will be working so hard to get them a commander-in-chief who deserves the title and will treat their lives with respect!!

12. Was their Air Assault capabilities used much in Iraq?
Seems like all I heard about was them moving via vehicles (like World War II infantry) - I don't recall any big "air assaults" occurring during Iraq 2003. Seems like having them quickly secure the Bagdad airport would have been a "no brainer" but it didn't happen. Anyone have any info on this?
