12. I am in no way a wine snob
Edited on Wed Feb-04-04 01:38 AM by MidwestTransplant
but I think it sucks. Way too sweet. Granted the second bottle we opened was a little less sweet but I still didn't like it at all!

On edit, I had the Cabernet.

My favorite wine is Gancia Asti.. I think it's not sold west of the Mississippi.. At least it never used to be.. We would have friends send it to us pre-internet..I have never tried to buy it online.. I drank enough in college to last a lifetime anyway :)

2. Charles Shaw
"Two Buck Chuck" Trader Joe's has it. But it's $2.99 a bottle in Chicago. Terrific value.

I swear that I couldn't get the smell out of my car and I drove it for 5 years after she :puke:. The junkyard must have smelled like the ripple PU.

5. it's slightly higher in the Viginia TJs, like $3.99
But still, it is an awesome everyday kind of Cab. I keep a few bottles on hand, can't beat the price.

You all should try the Kempton Clark MAD Zin also from TJs at $6.99. It is darn good. We battled over the bottle at the Christmas dinner table.

I only found it online in Italian
