1. good looks, well proportioned face, natural sparkling personality
most people, when they meet me, either really hate me or really like me.

but i have rarely met a person who didn't like me.

but i'm just an all around outstanding guy (IRL).\

that's why i am reluctant to reveal my identity here. the real me and the online me are really different. i feel more at ease to express myself here in some ways.

i say things online i wouldn't normally say to strangers in real life.

6. I do!
My parents always thought I was ditzy. I was finally diagnosed 2 years ago with ADD. The hyper component doesn't exist (except in my poor head) I can laugh now that I know what it is.

I AM queen of the mental power-turns!

;)

I'm fine. Wish I could concentrate for long periods of time. Medication helps but it's just who I am - ditzy. ;)

9. Journalism
Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 06:39 PM by HEyHEY
I don't have a diploma even, let a lone a degree. My internship was at a small community paper on an island inhabited by hippies, not some big city daily. I squeeked by all courses in J-school and don't have a diploma cause I transfered in and they wouldn't accept one class. ANd let's face it, my DU posts are a grammar nightmare.
I only seem to be able ot pull it together for journalism. Clean, crip copy, it's weird.
Yet, I work for the two best media outlets in the country while at the same time running the news department of an Alt Weekly in the third largest city in the country. I often have national broadcast and print stories. I work in radio, television and print (obviously). And I seem to get almost any gig I apply for. I have journolism students facebooking me all the time asking me questions and shit... it's kinda out of control.

Sa'll cause I'm just naturally good at it.

ANd a few women have said I'm talented in the sack, but that could be lip service.

12. .
the man who was mortally wounded in war kept on fighting
the man who was cut to the quick by love kept on loving
the man who was mercilessly tortured by thoughts kept on thinking
the man who was crippled with concern kept on caring kept on caring

hair of the dog
hair of the dog
hair of the dog that turned
hair of the dog

the man whose eyes were sore from obscenities kept on looking
the man whose heart bled, killed by compassion kept on feeling
the man whose legs buckled under exertion kept on running
the man whose ears rang with the sound of his own name kept on listening

13. Haha, okay.
Good at:
Remembering things
Random trivia
Music
Languages
The computer
Writing
Learnin' stuff
Algebra
Sarcasm
Dry humor
Making presentations (NOT speeches, just Power Points or something)
Anything I can do by myself

Not so hot at:
Feelings
Face-to-face interpersonal communication with people I don't know well
STRANGERS (:scared:)
Drawing and all related pursuits
Colors
Fashion
Small-talk

Basically, if it's a solo pursuit, done with people I know, or done in a situation where I'm in control (presentations), I'm fine. I'm not so fine with anything visual (I don't live in my body; I live in my mind, and colors and drawing are just not in my mind) or with socializing with near-strangers. I just don't care for small-talk. I LOVE to talk with people, just people I know at least fairly well.

18. I think mine run along similar lines to yours
Music, cooking, writing, and modifying/creating things are my fortes.

I totally suck at drawing, and I'm not very good in social situations. Always been more than just a bit of an introvert, not to mention that I have rather eclectic interests, so there are very few people that I actually have anything to talk to about.

I've gotten away with murdering a European language or two
I'm a decent conversationalist

I'm kind

I'm bad at

24. Sounds
I'm audial. I have relative pitch (as opposed to perfect pitch), so if I know a song, I can sing it in the key in which it was recorded. I can also hear all those Monty Python bits and other stuff in my head exactly as it was — accent, inflection, all the subtleties — and reproduce it faithfully. One of the fun parts of this is I can do some impersonations and other mockery of voice and sound — which means I always have a musical instrument with me, like my invisible harmonica. :D

Some people say I'm also a good listener, but I think that's relative.

At one time I could recite 2/3 to 3/4 of the The Holy Grail. I'm not so sure my accent was perfect but I don't think it was horrible either.

I can also sing songs in key without a cue.

27. I don't reproduce the accents perfectly
because there're some accents I just can't get a solid oral handle on — like my Irish comes out half Irish, three-eighths Scottish and one-eighth Welsh. And I still haven't gotten down a Yorkshire accent, though Cockney and Liverpudlian come rather easy — I guess because their peculiarities are rather obvious. (I think it was John Cleese who said Terry Jones' voice goes up because he's Welsh. I've listened, but I just can't hear that in Jones' voice.)

But when I hear stuff in my head, it's exactly as the original, and I can reproduce tone, inflection, pauses, stuff like that. It's like my ears just have really good memory. :)
