A Song for Joe…
Well I don’t know why I came here tonight.
I’ve got the feeling that something ain’t right.
I’m so scared in case I fall off my chair,
and I’m wondering how I’ll get down the stairs.

Clowns to the left of me!
Jokers to the right!
Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Yes I’m stuck in the middle with you,
and I’m wondering what it is I should do.
It’s so hard to keep this smile from my face.
Losing control yeah I'm all over the place.

Clowns to the left of me!
Jokers to the right!
Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Well you started off with nothing
and you’re proud that you're a self-made man
yeah
and your friends they all come crawling,
slap you on the back and say
Please . . .
Please . . .

Trying to make some sense of it all
but I can see that it makes no sense at all.
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor?
I don’t think that I can take anymore.

Clowns to the left of me!
Jokers to the right!
Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Stuck in the middle
Stuck in the middle

Well you started off with nothing
and you’re proud that your a self-made man.
ah-ah yeah
Now your friends they all come crawling,
slap you on the back and say
Please . . .
Please . . .

Stuck in the middle with you (ah-yeah)
Stuck in the middle with you
Here I am!
Stuck in the middle with you
With you, with you, with you ....

So Long Joe…

2. My salute to a good man.
While I wouldn't characterize the other Democrats as clowns and jokers, Lieberman is a good figure in our party. I'm glad he ran and I would have been happy to call him the Vice Prez. for the past 3 years. Good luck in the future, Mr. Lieberman!

6. The Jokers and Clowns refer to those outside the Democratic Party.

9. As a Connecticut native...

...I can say with complete authority that Lieberman is NOT a good man! He does only what is good for Joe Lieberman, the rest of us be damned. Why do you think he ran simultaneously for senator and vice-president?

And now, there's talk in Connecticut about Lieberman running for governor in 2006! Good god almighty, that's all my state would need. And knowing Joe, he'll run simultaneously for governor and senator, just to ensure that he has a job come Election Day. :eyes:

4. Well, fuckaroo.
My thread got locked, even though I only offered news and not an opinion on Joe's bow-out.
