Just caught the beginning of his show by accident.

I've got $20 that says the guy was drunk. Ripped. Potted.

Seriously. It was obvious. His jokes fell with an audible "thud". The ONE guy in the studio laughing only made it more pathetic.

Guess I'd be pretty tanked on the air too if I finally realized that publicly fellating the GOP might not have been such a gutsy and forward thinking career move.

Sorry Dennis, there's no turning back now. You're stuck with scraping together deliberately obscure one liners to support the hyenas you chose. Way to pick 'em, champ. Here's hoping every show knocks 'em dead like tonight's.

i know he managed slightly pull ahead of msnbc for his much-hyped debut night, but I assume that's leveled off some.

Of course, it doesn't matter. nbc will 'let him build an audience" and keep him around forever, like they do with scarborough. unlike donahue, who they were giddy as hell to can, just so they could say that 'lib'ruls don't do well on tv'
