1. I'd rather see him doing Shakespeare
Maybe he could redo that Kenneth Branagh snorefest.

13. Prospero

I saw him as Prospero in a swell production of The Tempest on Broadway a few years back.

I noticed that the crowd wasn't quite what one typically sees at such a thing and commented on that to my friend.

She laffed at me because I'd had no idea he was on TV much less in Star Trek!

It was a really really good production, too. And I'm kinda snobby about such things.

14. It's still difficult for me to get Gurney Hallek out of my mind
Always expected him to say to Troi: "Mood? Moods are a thing for cattle!"

16. Gurney Hallek rocks!
Plus, anyone remember Patrick as Sejanus in "I, Claudius"? Hell, the guy's great in anything he does (THAT VOICE!), but he'll probably be Jean-Luc till he dies. That's okay. It's a memorable role---and a first-rate performance. Jean-Luc's back-and-forth with "Q" is as great as TV has ever been. So say I.

"...and the sky's the limit!"

19. And also dressed as a Pink Angel in "Jeffrey"
or Pink <whatever they were>. Man, he was great in that role, too.

As you say, he's great in everything - he's a true actor's actor.

I'm so pissed that I didn't go see him and Kyle MacLaughlin when they were doing their broadway play last Fall. I could just kick the snot out of myself for missing that.

20. Jean-Luc
When I first saw the X-Men movie, I referred to him as Jean-Luc rather than Patrick Stewert. I do that with most actors.

25. Fave line:
"I saw what I saw!
The boy drew the sword.
If a boy has been chosen, A BOY SHALL BE KING!"

Powerful delivery. Most any line I have ever seen him deliver sticks with me for a long time afterwards.
