Woohoo!!! I have HEAT again!

Pilot light in the furnace went out awhile back. We had a very warm summer, so didn't think much about it. But after freezing our buns off for the past few days, we called the gas company to come out and restart the furnace. (We do NOT mess with gas furnaces. Don't want to blow ourselves up. :scared: )

Anyway, guy came a little while ago, and now the house is WARM! Prior to this, we were using a couple of space heaters, which today, just weren't cutting it.

1. My heater has gone out twice in the past year

I can take as much heat as the sun can deliver, but the cold ruins my life--not to be dramatic. It affects my mood, my muscles, by entire body, my migraines, my depression, everything. I can't stand the cold. And I feel like bowing to the people who were able to fix my heat.

2. I also hate being cold, but I have to say, it doesn't affect me as much

as it does you. And yes, I do agree: I also feel like bowing to those who can fix the furnace.

3. I am a retired boiler guy....

Few things in my life have been more rewarding than the gratitude of my customers. To me it's no big deal - but to them I'm a hero.

Now I do it for free - they love me even more. :)
