1. Do you remember any dreams from last night? No, but it was a very restless night.

3. When's the last time you received an award? What was it? I won a fiction prize about 15 years ago. Crap. I was invited to a recognition dinner for my work tonight and I am trying not to get my hopes up.

Either Mozart or Frank Zappa. Both were musical geniuses who contributed so much during their lives.

3. When's the last time you received an award? What was it? The radio station where I work just won 'best radio station' in a readers' poll from a local publication. Not mine, personally, but we all share in it.

14. Hello Siwash, er, eh, um, I mean Prairie fire.

The little old man from question 9 was really cute. He was supposed to be speaking about the importance of giving to the endowment (my 501 (c) 3) but he ended up just ranting about the Bush administration and how much damage they've done. His women's dress remark did make me laugh. It was archaic. But it makes a difference when you're in the room with someone and feeling the energy.

I wouldn't be okay with listening to only one artist's work, but if forced to choose, I'd go with Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen. Or Greg Brown. Or John Prine.

I had a dream that I brought my dog to school and she laid down in the middle of the hallway and wouldn't let anyone through and my teachers were scared of her. Then I became a Japanese woman who lived in a book about herself, and I would go from room to room by hopping from page to page. It was wierd.
