So I outwitted my stupid dog who keeps climbing in my lap

while I'm typing. He only weighs 70 pounds and I'm getting a sore arm from pushing him off.

First both dogs spent half an hour butting me and scratching at the porch door. I stuck them out there and closed the door. 10 minutes later, they were scratching to come inside. Then the big dog kept climbing between me and the key board. After building a moat of wastebaskets and chairs, I got the dog comb. He hates to get groomed. AHA! I thought, come near me and you're going to get brushed. That worked for about half a day. Now he's figured out that it feels good to get brushed and he's back in my lap.

At least I'm getting him groomed.
