24. Nope!
We live in the southern part of Switzerland, with a more Mediterranean climate. I don't have a photo of our house in my Photobucket account, but it looks kinda like this, but with balconies:

10. You never know!
But why not have a little fun?

It can't hurt anything to say it out loud!

Maybe you can 'get it' for yourself!

A house? A car? A truck?

It's OK to say it outloud!

In fact, it actually helps to say it out loud.

It makes it more 'real'.

27. It's the big pieces that are the mammajammas
The body and the first lens each run upward of $5,000, and the body alone is practically worthless without at least one of the lenses. So you're looking at a minimum initial investment of about $6,000.

'Course, I don't need top-o'-the-line gear, but... this is about wishes, after all. :)

However, none of that is looking possible this year. The kids come first.

32. I know how that feels.
Maybe you could get that PS 3 on sale online and then you and the kids can enjoy it all year long!

That would be a good investment! One big family gift!

8. Well; I'm also giving to the kids in need but I also have a list!
I think it's great to give to charity but it's also A-OK to want a few things for yourself.

Go ahead and indulge yourself. It's only a list in 'make believe land' anyway.

25. A few little things of joy isn't materialism.
All humans need comfort and many wait all year long until

this time of year to have a little fun and indulge themselves.

You're allowed to enjoy life too, you know!? It's OK!

We're all human and have needs and wants.... even you.

One of my wishes is that you learn to enjoy the 'good and the bad' of life, in balance.

One person can't solve all the world's problems by themselves.

There are those who give with joy, and that joy is their reward.

33. I don't mean this to come
off as too self-serving, but there's nothing material I want. I'm continually purging my house of stuff so I don't want to make any additions.

Although, I wouldn't mind finding someone under this. >>>>>>>>

My son blew a wad and went out and bought a 360? That MS game box.

I told him he jumped the gun! :P

But he couldn't resist but he should've as I saw it a LOT cheaper this week.

I only want little things.

A new apt.; some new socks and nightgowns and maybe some slippers. ;)

45. My lease is up in 2 days!!
Argh! And I still haven't found a new place and it's not for lack of trying.

Thankfully, my present landlord told me 'not to worry about it.'

I am worried but that does give me some breathing room. Whew!

You just got there and are already to go? That must suck big time! :(

I don't want that to happen to me. I can't take the stress.

47. it's just a little small
and has a few things i don't like

such as a deck outside my window (upstairs) that belongs to the cross the way neighbor... i have no access to the deck but it goes right outside my bedroom window.

if they are out there it is noisy

and if the light is on it shines against my blinds

otherwise

i just wish i'd gotten a 2 bedroom so my son could have his own space when he visits

but

my lease isn't up for a while

i can break the lease and lose my deposit which wasn't much

so i am contemplating that

and may start looking around.

good luck with your search

yes

moving is stress

hate it hate it hate it

the idea of lightening the load sounds tempting.

plus

i'm in the position right now of discovering things i don't have that i have been used to having for years and years... (ie oven mitts... cooked something and realized oops, no oven mitts... things like that)

I don't blame you at all. I have to have a 2 bdrm. I have a 19 yr old tagging along.

I have two more to look at tomorrow. I hope they come through. I want out of here!

Moving is a HUGE stress! Hence... I'm stressed out! :P

But trying to chill out tonight...

I hope you can find a new place that's more comfortable for you.
