1. Airborne and 100 % concord grape juice
Seriously. Airborne is amazing stuff. And the Peoples Pharmacy says that something in 100% concord grape juice (not cocktail or drink) will conquer a sore throat. Or you could gargle with warm salt water.

My mom swore by airborne. She used to send me a supply at the beginning of every winter, or bring it with if she came for Thanksgiving.

I'll hit Walgreen's over my lunch hour and buy Airborne and 100% Grape Juice.
