Simpsons SPOILER
Edited on Sun Nov-25-07 08:08 PM by HypnoToad
Simpsons had Keith Oberman on; claiming if you skip commercials, you are stealing TV.

Uh, when I buy a product, part of the money from that product goes back into the company's advertising fund. I have no say in what the company sponsors and some products are just unavoidable.

So KO's guest appearance seemed to be nothing more than a JO for somebody.

4. Yeah, why would they have jokes on a show like The Simpsons anyway?

6. Absolutely a joke.
Unless going to the john during commercial breaks is also "stealing."

8. And it speaks to an element from the movie.
Clearly they don't like Fox advertising during the actual running of show - the tickers and logos and stuff.

I'd be pissed - they spend months animating an episode to have it cropped or tainted by some ad for a new Fox show.

3. Sounds like a joke to me.
The Simpsons are infamously sarcastic about such things.
