1. Hell, I think electric toothbrushes are too much technology.
Please...it's not like brushing your teeth is heavy manual labor or anything.

It's just absurd how they're coming with technology that's entirely unnecessary.

22. electric toothbrushes are wonderul things
I have never had dental problems (well, besides those darn wisdom teeth) and I switched to an electric after a dentist's appointment a few years back. when I went back to the dentist, he looked at my teeth and said "you have an electric toothbrush, don't you?" he said, and still says, and I have heard from others who switched, that it was like coming back to the dentist after 3 months, not 6.

3. I like my electric toothbrush.
Edited on Sat Nov-24-07 08:27 PM by Deep13
I have a real problem with tooth decay and the rotating head is just a lot more thorough than I can be with a manual model.

On the other hand, I do not have a cellular telephone or a pager. I have an old model Ipod, but I really old use it to listen to audiobooks in the car. I have hand-crank windows in the car and a cassette player.

7. No, it has a switch right on the toothbrush.
It is really amazing. Slide it a little and it moves slowly. The rest of the way makes it move fast. Sliding it back makes it stop. Talk about convenience!

10. Guess you didn't watch that show on HBO?
Katie Morgan talked about one vibrator that can be controlled by text messages from your cell phone.

I agree it's pointless but he likes things with buttons and displays that are useless other than catering to people who like buttons and displays.

14. I'll hold out for the real technological breakthrough.
The robotic toothbrush that takes care of your teeth while your in the shower. At least that would save some time in the morning.

I'd say that product is the height of absurdity, but I know that in another minute something will come along that's even more absurd.
