up? I'd be happy with my DUzy next to my avatar, but I thought it had to be one or the other -- EITHER the DUzy OR my avatar.

I saved your DUzy into my files, and then transferred it to photobucket...
Looks like I made extra work for myself....
Silly me...now I have a saved Duzy for nothing....

7. Thanks dicksteele and mycritters2 -- After all that, it won't let me put more

than one image in my sig line. I should have clarified that's what I wanted to do. I also tried to mush it in with my Biden avatar, but was thwarted in that attempt, too. Story of my life. Thanks for your help, though -- I DID learn how to upload a jpg into photo bucket! :hi:

8. You got Photoshop or anything similar?

You just attach the DUzy pic to the Biden pic,
and then it's a SINGLE pic that your sigline
will load and display just fine. (you still need
PhotoBucket or some such to host the new pic, of course!)

I can do it for you if you don't have the software-
it's an easy five-minute job.

EDIT: Here's what I mean.
Both pics below and the text between are actually a single JPEG,
under the DU 20kb sigline limit:

9. HA! Too Funny! Check it out! I pulled your (my) jpg w/DUzy and Biden onto

my desktop, brought it to PhotoBucket, copied the address and put it in my sig line info -- oops!

I'm going back to try again, but thought you'd get a laugh out of this! :blush:


EDIT: Okay, I'm not laughing any morel I have PhotoShop but have a hell of a time trying to navigate around it. I just may pull in the components again to how I had it before. At least for tonight. :7

10. Hmmm...it's showing the LINK to the pic instead of displaying the pic itself...

I've seen it do that before, but I don't quite recall what the problem was...

Are you using the "direct link" option under the pic on your PhotoBucket page?

3. The same way you got your Biden pic in there.

Right-click that "DUzy" pic, select "copy image location",
and then paste that address into your signature line box
on the "edit your profile" screen.

If you're planning to KEEP it there for more than a few days,
I'd recommend that you use an online photo-sharing site
to host the pic yourself. Because whoever is currently hosting
it (DU Admin?) probably wouldn't like it if you steal too
much of their bandwidth.

4. Right click on the DUzy sign.

Then right click on "properties". Another box will show up. Higlight the url after "Location:". While it's still highlighted, right click on it. Click on "copy". Go to the sig line in preferences (or profile, whichever it is). Paste the copied url there.

That should do it.
