Prison Guards Go Wild on Francis?

Posted Nov 23rd 2007 12:03PM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Celebrity Justice

"Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis says in court documents Oklahoma prison guards threatened to strap him naked to a chair for 48 hours and denied him food and blankets. Sounds like "Girls Gone Wild: Prison Edition."

Francis was in the Grady County Law Enforcement Center for three weeks in May and June while being moved from a Florida jail to a federal facility in Reno, Nev. where he'll face tax evasion charges next year.

Oklahoma prison officials deny claims of abuse, telling the Oklahoman newspaper Francis was "treated like every inmate that comes through the Grady County Law Enforcement Center."

3. I'm starting to wonder if he's a sociopath or a manic or something
this is unexplainable, him trying to get the prosecutor in trouble for video that he himself took. Weird. He just sounds mentally ill. I read on another of the links he's been in jail
http://www.tmz.com/2007/11/13/francis-to-prosecutor-no-youre-the-pornographer

for six months without being charged...isn't that unconstitutional?

10. I believe there is a contempt of court thing in there - thus the long jailtime with no apparent
conviction.

That said, any sympathy I have for him can only be imagined because it simply does not exist.

18. good
between seeing that photo of him trying to pull that girl's shirt up that was resisting him and the journalist that described his assault of her I think that he belongs behind bars. It's so ironic to me that tax evasion is what got him put away...the other stuff seems more tolerable to the judicial system but don't mess with they money, lol.

9. Yep. In this economy it's tough to decide between...
1). Food

2). A warm home

3). Gas in the tank of the automobile

4). Getting strapped naked to a chair for 48 hours.

If I could only learn to tie myself to the chair while naked, I could save myself a little money every month.

22. True, he's the ultimate scumbag (and publicity hound)...
I had the misfortune of reading some excerpts from an interview he did with Howard Stern. Same kind of garbage as in the L.A.T. article.

My personal feeling is that Francis is "speaking out" because the publicity he was getting a few months ago has completely evaporated. Like all junkies, he's desperately in need of another fix.

21. If true, no one deserves to be mistreated by police,
even if they are a leech. But, my slight hunch, or overwhelming sense of the psychic, or my renowned bullshit detection abilities, tells me that it's not.

My psychic bookies give me these odds:

1000 to 1 he's telling the truth. 1.5 to 1 he's full of shit.
