The Romantics sue Guitar Hero
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071122/ap_en_mu/brf_guitar_hero_romantics I'm not sure about the reasons of why some bands said yes to allowing Guitar Hero to use their version and some didn't but the game is so cool I can't imagine why bands would refuse unless A) they're knobs or B) the financial offer was totally insulting. The game is so much fun that I would think being on it would be an honor but that's just me

2. I think that the real reason they sued
Is because Guitar Hero forced people to remember the band at all, thereby destroying the illusion they'd maintained all these years that they died in 1989.

Hell, I think that we should all sue Guitar Hero for reminding us that this terrible, terrible band ever existed.

And while we're at it, we should sue every shitty radio station that runs "Back to the 80s" weekends, which likewise do not permit us to forget the agony of that alleged music.

What was the question, again?

5. wow, that's going pretty far back
I'd confused them with the "replacements" and was wondering what kind of guitar hero would want to play 'walk 500 miles'

7. that's a pretty big difference!
from the Proclaimers as well! ;)

The Replacements version would consist of drunken refusals to play any more songs (completely) from the record!
