Anyone ever actually eaten crackers in bed? Been kicked out?
Kicked someone out for doing this?

The expression "I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers" is a commonly used expression by men (and maybe women too) for saying someone is sufficiently attractive enough to let pass small missteps and errors. Shallow I know but commonly used.

So has anyone ever done this?

5. During the depression when food was hard to come by -
Crackers were too expensive. I ate cornbread in bed. Believe me! Not a crumb went to waste. Going to bed hungry ain't fun.

7. I am the Princess and the Pea with bedsheets
any kind of crumbs are strictly verboten. My husband, thankfully, does not like to eat while reclining. No crackers in our bed!

(and the cats get ejected immediately for chewing on themselves on the bed)
