Warmest weather I've seen here in 15 years.

I just deep fried two turkeys outside, Cajun style.

Blue skies, nice breeze, warm sun...

It was so warm I took my shirt off to soak some rays while I cooked.

Now it's time to chow down!

5. In past years, I've cooked the turkeys while it snowed.
That was part of the charm of deep frying turkeys for Thanksgiving up here.

But in this weather, where is the challenge?

10. Wow! We got 68 degrees up here!
Man oh man it's bloody gorgeous here in SF. Just came back from a long bike ride from the bay to the coast where I live. The water is like cobalt glass, refracting the cloudless sky. Day-um! Why can't it be like this in the summer when the days are a bit longer than just 4 hours???? The sun is already hovering just above the hills and it's gonna be pitch black here in just about 2 1/2 more hours.

As for Boston, don't worry. You'll surely have your six months of winter, starting any time now!

PS I LOVE Boston! Every time I visit I fell smarter by osmosis, being surrounded by so many of the brain trust. But your winters, I just can't handle. Baltimore was bad enough when I was a little kid; California has spoiled me!
