Saved a dog from near certain death
This evening on my way home in rush hour traffic, there was this dog on the little highway I frequent, it's a 50 MPH zone. It looked like a boxer/bull terrier mix, no tags and scared half out its wits. The cars were stopped as this dog was darting in and out of the cars.

Then the little guy jumped up to my door and jumped at the window. I certainly didn't want the dog, but did care enough to want to get it out the damn highway, so I could take it to a shelter and get on home.

I had a bright idea. I opened my car door and beckoned the little tyke to come inside my car. I think the dog had more than one encounter with the animal control truck, because the moment I opened that door, he hauled @$$ back onto the sidewalk where he should have been in the first place. Only hoping he stayed put and found his way home...

1. Aw
I hope he found his way home. I hate it when I see stray dogs. It breaks my heart.
