Crap, I just sprained my ankle

Taking a load of recyclables outside and stepped off the walk and twisted it. It hurts like hell.

3. Not the first time

Dislocated it two years ago climbing. I still have the brace and my cane but they are up the stairs.

4. Ice Compression Elevation

I sprained my ankle over a month ago, 2 sets of x-rays negative for a fracture but the damn thing still hurts. Go see your MD if you're still having pain after 3 days and get an air cast to keep the ankle stabilized. My left ankle is weak and I've lost count of the number of times I've sprained it, but this last one was a doozy. :-(

I did feel it pop back into place. Now that the initial pain has settled down I can hobble to the kitchen for the ice and get some aleve.
