Smoked meat from the hunt.

OK OK, the Opi is back from the mountain, Spent SB on Maunaloa Main Ridge near Ho'o'kena and Miloli'i.

Got to see JJ bare BooB at half time while eating smoked meat. The boob almost made me ill.

Had a great time, 2 pigs, 1 goat, zero for 3 on the turkeys(3 shots and only dust.) and 8 pounds of precious opihis.(edible limpets)
No Mouflon sheep were sighted.

All 3 nights were spent around a campfire in 50 to 55 degree weather, clear skies.
I smell like smoked hot dogs.

6. The meat was smoked as were the pigs.

People pay a lot for goats cause they can hardly find it at SafeWay or other chains. Its a specialty meat for (obviously) people whe like it. I went for the pork.

Truth be told, although I can taste the difference between kid an lamb (the flavors are milder and more clearly defined), I can't tell the difference between goat and mutton.

Can be kinda stringy, gamy if not prepared right -- but a good dish of Jamaican curry goat is GOOD stuff. I've also had some real yummy goat vindaloo (the heat really cuts through the gaminess).

Why do you hunt? don't you know there is no reason to go hunting since you can buy meat at a grocery store? I have heard that somewhere. Oh well, there is no better pork then under 1 year old boar. :)

10. I was up there on other business, a different mission, But was also there

for the "kill". The ranch is know for its Koa wood. the last Koa forest in private hands in the world.... that has a significant amount of wood on it.

I never kill animals, only smoke it to eat.
