5. I Found a Nice

Black lambskin jacket at Kohl's on the "clearance rack." It was marked down to $50 from $399. Couldn't pass it up. :)

7. That is pretty cool

I've been thinking that I need a leather jacket to complete the jacket/coat space in my closet. I've got the all-purpose ski jacket for tough situations (which can be disassembled into two parts, both waterproof), a black wool trenchcoat for looking spiffy, and two waist-length cloth jackets, one tan and one navy. The leather jacket would round all that out.

8. I used to have a brown leather biker's jacket.

At least it had a specific functional purpose, other than to look cool. (Leather coats are actually quite heavy and very hot to wear, BTW.)
