we have snow here in Northeast PA - we live about 15 minutes northwest of Wilkes-Barre... about 4-5 inches on the ground tonight and stil snowing... weather forcast last night called for a dusting to 1-2 inches... HA!

These pics were taken this afternoon. The pup, Tovah loves the snow..

here she is with one of our greyhounds, Sunny. Look close - she's just to the left of him

the tree outside our backdoor still has leaves on it

2. still snowing this Monday morning
6" at least, probably be 7-8" by the time it's over. temps in the mid 40's to low 50's for the rest of the week so it will melt pretty fast..

3. just got done shoveling the driveway
school delays are all across the area, but the roads don't look too bad

getting ready to hit the shower, then get dressed and off to work - hope the roads I have to drive on are in good shape as I have an hour commute and it's not HIGHWAY driving... up hills and down hills... :shudder:

5. didn't put coats on
because we didn't really have much time to futz around outside at that moment. We had just gotten home from a brunch with friends, took the dogs out real quick and hauled in some wood to get the wood stove going. If we put their coats on, they lolly around, look at birds, watch the neighbors, and generally take their sweet time. No coats, and they do their business and it's a race back to the warm house..

later that afternoon, we had them all out in their coats for a good 1/2 hour of play time in the snow

We have two greyhounds, Sunny (the one in the pic)- he's 7 years old, about 34" at the shoulder and weighs about 75lbs. He's a real gentlemen.

Our other greyhound is also black with white chest/feet. Her name is Mint. She's 5 years old, about 28" at the shoulder, and is a little piggy - weighs 80 lbs and is on a diet.

The pup is 16 weeks old, she's a pointer, possibly full-bred, but we really don't know, adopted her from the shelter. She weighs about 25-30 lbs, we'll know better in about a week when she goes in for her next set of shots at the vet

6. It's very beautiful
and I'm sure I'll see snow when I visit buffalo later this week, but I am very glad I moved down to NYC. The coastal weather here is very nice and mild. We will only have 1 week of snow sometime in February.
