4. Mr Gen's 55th birthday today
I've been slaving over the stove all day. We are having a glazed spiral ham, mashed garlic potatoes, green bean casserole, cabbage salad with peas and pineapples, cooked cabbage and carrots, rolls and a white cake with the cooked white frosting made with flower and milk.

I'm not very domestic, but I want my husband to have a nice meal. I'm actually pretty awkward in the kitchen. I spilled vanilla all over the place, and I've been doing a lot of swearing.

5. Went to Wendy's with some folks from church.
Had a baked potato. Tonight is my church's big Thanksgiving Dinner, thus a light lunch.

6. Slept until 3:30, so Sunday dinner, rather.
One of my friends and I collaborated on dinner: whole wheat pasta with jar sauce, salad, garlic bread, peas, and wine, with sweet potato pie to follow for desert. It was her idea, and I'm glad I took her up on it.

7. Veggie pasta casserole (squash, onions, sweet peppers, zucchini,
cooked with Italian seasoning, tomato paste, and mozarella cheese), and home-baked bread, my first loaf in my new breadmaker, a yummy French bread. It was my first made-from-scratch bread, and it was awesome!

I'm planning on a baking frenzy next weekend when the weather gets yucky.
