Apartment dwellers - do you use amplified antannaes to get better tv reception?

1. Well..

In college I rigged one up with aluminum tape on the back of the shelf unit the TV was on. It was so-so. I preferred having fast Internet to cable. Much whining from visitors too -- my response was "didn't you come to see ME vs watching my TV?" Heh.

I think you can still buy antennas at Radio Shack and such.

4. I did for a while before I got satellite.

Now I use the antenna booster to improve my radio reception, since the tuner has the same RF antenna socket as the TV did.
