Abundant physical and mental energy, although coupled with disdain for traditional exercise.

My present state of mind is overall contentment but coupled with preoccupation of completing tasks on ongoing to-do list.

I value reason, levelheadedness, the ability to think for oneself, a sense of humor, and eclectic, unconventional, unfashionable tastes.

19th century: folks in the Underground Railroad, Henry James, Queen Victoria.

That's far enough back for now, but I could give you more.

Favorite bird: Several. I like laughing gulls, hummingbirds, and there's a cute little one that comes in my backyard and eats the bugs off my nightblooming jasmine. He's small and mostly brown but with a black eyemask a la the Lone Ranger within a yellow band.
