More about my friend who was in the car wreck....

I found out early this morning that he will live, although he is still in serious condition. He's doing well after his surgery, and he was able to move his toes a little. However the doctor told his wife that it may just be something to do with his muscles twitching and not to get too much hope yet. But from what I was told he was able to talk and everything after surgery and the situation isn't as grim as was previously thought. He's an active healthy guy, so that probably helped too. So once his swelling goes down from the surgery, hopefully, he'll be able to decisively move his fingers and toes on his own and take it from there.
