I'll be jiggered! There ARE Democrats in Colorado!
...Out here on the Western Slope, the last frontier.

My phone just rang (proving at least one person reads my column) and it turns out there's a "Democratic meet-up" at the local leftist bookstore (well, it's the only bookstore, but what can you do?) to "strategize". Since I have no idea what that means, I can only assume we'll be drinking coffee and complaining.

Assuming there's more than three people, how should I mobilize my new army? Should I use my newfound dark minions for good, or evil? :P

1. Some hints from a fellow Colorodan:
If you get three people...

1 person in charge of collecting dog poop
1 person in charge of obtaining brown lunch bags
1 person in charge of getting directions to that focus on the family shit down in C Springs.
You bring the lighter.

It's good to be #7 in Colorado! I'm in Littleton, land of that nutjob Tancredo.

5. Well, I could probably
stage a sit-in on the gazebo in town square...

To what end, I know not. "Gazebos for Justice" just doesn't soar, dammit. :silly:

6. Colorado is the most beautiful place I've ever lived!
Even Fort Carson was beautiful because, of the majestic view from there of the surrounding mountains! It's the modern day gold diggers like Neil Bush and his ilk that have made a pig sty out of your state! The Bushco Bible Club can't blame their mess out there on Gawd! God went out of his way for Colorado and couldn't have made it any better, but the Devil rules the place now! Hang in there dude, the CAV is on the way in November!

7. What's the story with that? With all those hippies...
How are there not more democrats out there? I'm only being partly facetious here. Every hippie I know moved out to Colorado to live.

8. Well, remember
we got us a big ol' military presence there in and around Co. Springs, what with the AF Academy, and... what's that thingy... oh, yeah, NORAD. :)

Plus, tourism notwithstanding, CO has an economy that's got really big ag and livestock components. Not really traditional Dem cloth. Although I have seen a lot of what I call "git-offa-mah-land" conservatives, who could largely give a damn about social issues as long as it doesn't affect their ranch directly... and they don't seem as fond of our president* as they may have been before.

9. We converted a Coloradan at DFW Airport...
when our plane to Iowa was delayed back in September.

Imagine sitting alone in a coffee shop in the middle of Freeper-land feeling nervous, when suddenly it's invaded by hundreds of hungry Deaners in uniform itching for action!

This lady timidly came over to us and said how nice it was to see some more Democrats in Texas!

She was toast. Instantly, we enveloped her in a cocoon of warm fuzzy Dean-ness, and she went back to Pueblo to preach the good word.

You've got another kindred soul there. Now go kick out some jams!

10. If you all moved to 1st District, maybe we could dump Beauprez.
That smarmy asshole only won by 121 votes.
