That's why he was there last night. He bridges the gap between country and P Diddy, he's sort of a hybrid between Toby Keith and Marshall Mathers. He's actually quite talented. He has a duet with Sheryl Crowe that was commercially successful as a country song and caused my Venezuelean coworker to buy his first Americano CD. I heard Alyssa Milano had a crush on the Kid Rock as well. The skinny greasy longhair look must be popular with some women, it seems to have replaced the mullet for Yankee rednecks. It worked on Kate Hudson.
That being said, I think Kid Rock's performance was inappropriate for family viewing. What really steamed me up was the way the flag was used in his performance. I felt that that was extraordinarily appalling.
