chicken soup with wild rice, he adds fresh ginger, and MAN is it GOOD!!!

5. Unless it's baby root, with pink, translucent skin,
I peel it, and I use it regularly. It probably depends on how fine you're grating it, though, and whether or not it's organic.

6. depends on how you're using it, IMO
If I were putting it in something light colored like a creamy dessert, I would peel it. If I'm using it in stir fry, nope.
