Filming starts on the sequel to GET SHORTY

Shooting began today on BE COOL, the sequel to 1995's crime comedy GET SHORTY, with John Travolta returning to play former mobster-turned-Hollywood producer-turned-music producer Chili Palmer. Two new additions to the cast were also announced today: Harvey Keitel (RESERVOIR DOGS) will play a record promoter and rap singer Andre 3000 will play the headliner for a rap group called the Dub MDs.

I don't like many Travolta films, but I loved GET SHORTY. The Rock also plays a gay man in this film, so it has to be somewhat interesting.
