"Jon Blake Cusack talked his wife, Jamie, into naming their son Jon Blake Cusack 2.0"

O brother, just as bad as the flower children naming kids, "Moondog" and "Jupiter Rising"

2. Its not the kids name
It is the parents looking for media attention, what better way than giving your kid some idiotic name?

4. there's a kid in TX named ESPN
sigh, some parents are far more concerned with fame than with a mentally healthy and happy child.

7. And Dweezil was not named Dweezil
He had the names of all the guys in the Mothers. He had it legally changed to Dweezil himself (though the family always called him Dweezil, thus the impetus to change it, but still)

its still better
than the name of the kid in the nursery when I had my kiddo -- the largest baby in the nursery and the smallest, yep Forrest Green

I knew the parents and they couldnt figure out why everyone thought the name was a little strange

3. Oh I don't know...
Naming your kid 2.0 is no worse than calling the kid Junior. Probably better, since 2.0 usually means the second is better than the first, whereas kids I named Junior would seem to be the lesser of the two. Maybe he's doing him a favor.

6. How is that really any different than saying The Second?
Jon Blake Cusack II or Jon Blake Cusack 2.0

Eh, no real difference. I think it's kind of cute - suggest that the child is the upgraded, less buggy, more powerful version.

8. and the other child?
If there is one?

Or 3.0 in the future? Will 2.0 feel disgarded??

9. LOL
I'm sorry, Jon 2.0, but mommy and daddy have just created Jon 3.0, so you're, well, obsolete. Please move out of the house. Thank you.
