Can you post something complimentary about someone that you don't talk to/about very often here at DU? Can you help spread the lounge love, and tell us why someone we don't know very well is really a very cool person?

I'll start:


KurtNYC rarely ever posts in the lounge. In fact, I don't know if I've ever seen him in the lounge. But he's a really nice, level headed, intelligent person. When I see him post something, I always take a moment to read it and consider it, even if I don't agree with him.

I know that he's one of those people who is very quietly generous and very responsible. He's an awesome guy to hang out with if you like having a very low-key pleasant conversation.

He's on my buddy list. And he's definitely earned a place there.

1. Buddhamama sounds very similar to your friend.

She is truly a nice person. There are a lot of people here who have the facade of kindness but when the chips are down they show their true colors. Buddhamama is always, always sweet. And I don't even know her in real life, but it shines through easily on the computer.

I miss her. :-(

I don't think he ever posts in the Lounge. I've not seen another poster here with such an endless support of unions and the working man. Lot of respect for that. He's also a bigtime animal guy.

Go check out the Labor Forum. It's like the Omaha Steve Channel.

The only thing I think we disagree on is our choice of candidates. I believe he's an Edwards man, though regardless, as we'll be voting for the same person in the big show.
