I'd like you all to meet Bob
Bob is a kitty who lives somewhere near campus. As the days have gotten colder, he's learned that dorms are toasty warm inside. Bob has ninja kitty abilities, allowing him to sneak into dorms and wander the halls, looking for attention/food/an open door.

As you can see in the picture, he got his nickname from his stubby little tail. :3

2. He doesn't look to skinny. Seems like he is being taken care of. But he needs
to be fixed too.

4. He's got a great personality
He'd make a great companion for someone. Poor Bob shouldn't have to wander the dorms looking for love :(

5. Update!
I've heard that someone on campus plans to take him to a local no-kill shelter before everyone goes home for break. He's such a friendly big guy (part Mainecoon, I swear), he's sure to find a home in no time.

7. It would be better if someone who works on campus
could adopt him and take him home.

He looks like a very cool friendly cat. :)

8. I agree with ThomCat - better if someone can take him from
campus. No kill shelters don't always have space, either - all of that needs to be checked out.

22. WHY FUCK UP Bob's LIFE?
Seriously, take him to the vet and get him neutered. He looks like life is pretty good right where he is. He is an older cat, he knows how to survive. Maybe Bob likes all the different people he meets every day? Bob is fine living right there in the dorm area. Fix him & let him carry on with his life.

24. yeah - lots of the cat rescue folks I talk to say the same thing...
get him neutered, and let him hang out as a bachelor. Otherwise, he might spend the rest of his days in a cage, waiting to be adopted. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is to get him neutered, and give him his rabies shot.... perhaps also the feline leukemia/distemper shot, and perhaps a squirt of Advantage for fleas. Then let the cool dude be, unless someone will take him to a HOME. Not a shelter.

27. Have a "fundraiser" for Bob's health care costs in the Dorm.
Looks like plenty of people are feeding the guy, they could also chip in to have his health needs taken care of. Then he will be around the dorm for years!

I would suggest a simple keg party, double the normal cost of beer to help Bob.

6. he's gorgeous!
Maybe someone can put together a kitty-cat-vet-bill pool so Bob can get some shots and be neutered? So there aren't little Bobs and Bobbettes come springtime?

13. I think every dorm would benefit from having a cat and a dog as long
as they could be protected from jackasses.

14. How do you get the S.A.'s to let him stick around?
Here, they would call the Humane Society the first time they saw him.

16. He's not supposed to be in here,
and he does get put outside again after a while. But most people on the first floor are willing to let him hang around the lobby and hallways for a while.

21. A suggestion:
You could put a stretchy collar on him with a note that says: Is this your cat? Please call XXX-XXXX" with your number to find out if someone feeds him regularly.

He is a handsome guy ... :loveya:

29. If this was a video, his tail would be flipping up and then down, once every 6 seconds, and
he would slowly scan back and forth, and when he recognizes someone, slowly close his eyes.
