I hate having to turn the a/c on in November
I wish it would cool off already. I know it is cold in a lot of places already and I should be glad I am not freezing. I am not asking for it to b cold but how about 70? That would be nice. I am sick of $130 electric bills. On a one-bedroom apartment. I had the a/c off all night. I can't open the windows because the cat will destroy the screens if I am not around to shoo him away. There is also no air circulation in my apartment either. It's nearly 80 degrees in here with the windows open. I am sick of sweating already so I turned the a/c on yet again.

1. We'll combine the weather in OH
and the weather in TX and get something we both like. ;) I don't like being too hot either.

Hang in there. :)

3. It's not usually this warm this late
And if my apartment was better-designed to take advantage of the prevailing southeast breezes, it would be fine. But the windows are all on one side.

2. I'm from Ohio
And there are times when I wouldn't mind paying a larger than average electric bill in trade for some warm weather. Most of that probably has to do with the fact that I have to work outside for about 3 hours a night. I'd rather sweat my ass off than freeze my balls off.

Although the change of seasons is kind of neat, I'd probably still trade it for 80 degree temps year round.

4. If only it were 80 degrees year-round
I lived in the Caribbean as a kid and we rarely used the a/c. It was 80 degrees year-round. Well it was pretty warm in the summer, but nowhere near as hot as Texas in the summer.

Normally we would have had a cold front or two to cool things down. We had one and then the temperatures have crept back up.

6. I guess there are good and bad points about a lot of things
I used to travel cross country as a trucker and I always loved it in the winter when I would get to run down south and not have to wear anything warmer than a t-shirt and jeans. I also used to work on a loading dock and there was this guy there who had just moved to Ohio from LA where he had lived his entire life. It was december and one night there he was standing at an open dock door just enthralled by the snow that was coming down outside. He'd never seen snow in person in his life.
