1. Does moving in with one of them count? :)
Just moved in with my grandparents, my grandpa is a WWII army veteran. And after that he taught target shooting to several police departments back home. He was a crack shot with pistol, rifle and camera, although he only ever went hunting when the family was poor and they actually needed food for their table. So the only things hanging up on the walls here are his photographs.

He also did a little bit of bow shooting when he was younger, and I'm hoping to get some bales of hay set up so I can safely practice with his bows myself without worrying about stray arrows flying past the back yard and y'know, killing an innocent person or anything. Little details.

2. Did that earlier this evening!
My dad served 27 years in the US Army, including 2 tours in Vietnam. (We lived on lots of bases as kids!) Was awarded 2 Bronze Stars during his service. Best man I'll ever know. While we do talk very frequently (several times a week) I've made a point to make a "special call" every Vet's Day during which we talk about nothing but his service. Got my nieces started on that as soon as they were able to hit the speed dial, so they learned about what Grandpa did in service to our country.

To your Dad and FIL - thanks for your service! And thank you for a great reminder! :)

3. I do that every year.
Have since I first got a computer & internet.

They always appreciate it, too.

5. Called him today
My brother served in Vietnam 67-69. My other vet relatives
have gone to their Reward. Namely, my Dad (WWII), my uncles
Bill (Korea and Vietnam) and Sam (Vietnam). May they rest in
peace. :patriot:
