2. If you are sick, there is
no point in wearing yourself out by cleaning or hauling laundry around, now is there?

Take care of yourself Lioness!

5. don't sweat in Lioness...
and yes, you are a true new yorker...

I feel that way too, and then I always end up wearing myself out. Just do some school reading (I'm sure that will help you sleep) and take good care.

6. I used to.
I used to be a total workaholic. I always had to be doing something.

Health issues can kill that impulse eventually. If you need to relax and recover then that's the best thing to do. Really.

9. Shopping? Twist my arm!
:P

I've been in your apartment, and I remember the layout of your kitchen, so I can definitely offer an intelligent opinion. :)

15. ok so do you remember how lisa has the bookcase next to the stove?
i want to replace that with a kitchen island, ceiling pot holder and a spice rack. these are the pics

however i dont know which celing pot holder would look better...a straight line or a round one. so i put both images up

17. I definitely like the grid pot holder
instead of the bar pot holder. You can nest your pots together and keep more of them up out of the way. And using it as an extra shelf doesn't hurt either.

Are you sure you want to go with Black in your kitchen?

18. i dont like the color of wood. would white be better?
all the wood in the house is lisa's furniture. i am a very metal/glass person.

20. I'm sure you can find a similar cabinet in
a modern chrome/frosted glass that would look really awesome. If you like metal and glass go for it. That would also keep your kitchen looking bright and open. Dark colors would make the room look smaller.

If wood is all that's practical or available then I would suggest white.

My taste is more like Lisa's. I like wood.

7. You were recovering. That's what you were doing.
The apartment is not going to crumble because you didn't clean for a few days. (Trust me on that one. I know first hand.)

12. Yes
When I was recovering from my burns I felt horribly guilty sitting around knowing there was so much to do in the yard and in the house. Even though I knew I wasn't supposed to be doing anything. The mind is a funny thing; don't be hard on yourself.

16. Yes but that's because I basically always do nothing
I must be the world's laziest human. I am on year 7 (7!) of a graduate degree. And it is ONLY because I have procrastinated to the nth degree. I have plenty of free time but instead of working on it (with the exception of actual course work- that I actually got done in time) I hang out on the couch, do any number of other things.

I rarely do dishes or vacuum. Only when it finally gets even to me.

19. Doing nothing is underrated in our culture.

I think, in moderation, it's a good thing. :-)

And yes, I too have guilt about it at times.

21. Because the topic lines are underlined, I thought you were asking about quilts.
I can't tell you how odd it seemed as I sat there trying to figure out what you meant by "Have you ever had quilt over doing nothing?"
