4. They don't do humor exclusively--remember Miller's Crossing?

Another dark, violent movie. If you haven't read the Cormac McCarthy novel on which the movie is based, I highly recommend it. From the reviews I've seen so far, it looks like the Coen brothers have done a fantastic job adapting it to film, and I can't wait to see it.

9. Fargo and The Big Lebowski are my two most favorite movies

So I'm a big Coen bros fan. Also enjoyed Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou, and Blood Simple a lot. Miller's Crossing, Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink were one time views but all right.

Was a little disappointed in The Man Who Wasn't There and The Ladykillers.

As for the movie being darker and without humor, both Blood Simple and Miller's Crossing fall into those catagories. The Coens are good at creating a broad spectrum of movies.
