I didn't watch the Super Bowl (I know, HERETIC)

I watched Bravo...a "Queer Eye" marathon plus some episodes of their "Gay Weddings" show. Bravo is getting to be a very gay friendly cable channel, which I defintely appreciate.

How can you not watch the Superbowl! :) I don't really see the big deal on the half time show. You saw Janets boob for like 1/4 of a second, and she a sticker over the goods. So, really I think it's a big deal over nothing. However, odd that CBS will broadcast Janet's boob, but not a completely boob-free commercial.

I watched the replay on the news this morning. Justin Timberlake reached over and grabbed the tear-away boob section of the costume. Janet J. was sporting a pastie... do you wear a pastie unless you plan for your boob to show? I don't think so.

6. They showed an asshole during the pregame show.

VIII: President Bush gave an aw-shucks, self-effacing prediction about the outcome of the game when he was interviewed by CBS pregame host Jim Nantz. "I think it's going to be a very close contest," Bush said. "But what the heck do I know? I'm just the president."

IX: Good for Nantz for bringing up the comments Bush made about steroids in the State of the Union address. Asked what kind of response he received from the remarks, Bush said: "I've gotten some feedback from people for saying, thank you Mr. President for saying it. Obviously there are some who have kind of soft-pedaled the call. I believe there should be zero tolerance for steroids in professional sports."
